A hidden feature in the iPhone that allows eavesdropping on others

Perhaps you are one of the Apple users who cannot live without the iPhone, yet you will be surprised by the new features that you do not know anything about and one of those features that many were not aware of, published by the English actress Elizabeth Henstridge who plays Gemma Siemens in the famous Marvel series Agents of SHIELD, and was amazed by the new feature that allows spying on others without their knowledge.

What is Live Listen

Apple says about the Live Listen feature, “The feature can help you hear a conversation in a noisy area or hear someone talking across the room. Wireless ear It is possible, through the direct listening feature, to listen to conversations by the iPhone from a distance of 15 meters.

How to turn on the feature

To activate the live listening feature, you need to add it to the control center by going to settings, then control center, then click on add next to the hearing icon, then click on settings to save your changes.

To use the direct listening feature, connect your iPhone device to a compatible wireless earpiece and open the control center on the iPhone, then click on the Hearing icon and then the “Live Listening” feature.

Thus, you can leave your iPhone in the room or in front of the person you want to hear and everything that happens will be transmitted to the wireless earpiece you are wearing.

Comment iPhone Islam

Live Listen feature is not a new feature as it was released more than two years ago; Rather, Google transferred it from Apple and put it in Android 10 and in 2019 we published an article explaining this you can find in this link But due to the lack of use of the feature, many do not know that it exists; Because of the actress's fame, many websites talked about the feature as if it was new.

To clarify, Apple has designed the Live Listen feature to help those who are hard of hearing, but of course some can abuse it in order to spy on others and leave the device next to them and hear their conversations.

Espionage is a major sin, as is adultery. God Almighty said: “And do not spy.” Beware myself before you

My honorable brother, spying on people is forbidden and is not permissible, but it is not compared to adultery, usury, or the sins in which there is a threat..!!

I am more interested in not leaving the phone away from me than in hearing what I do not want to hear with my ear.

This feature only works with AirPods, meaning the trusted headphones, not any headphones, unfortunately.

The problem is that this feature requires a special wireless headset for the hearing impaired. And these are usually expensive. Like some models (Signia) from Siemens, the price ranges between 2000 and 8000 SAR.
